Sports Announcements 11/1/19
1. The varsity soccer team beat Old Colony yesterday 3-1 to improve their season record to 9-7-2. Emmanuel Osorio headed one goal in and booted in another. Ryder Nilson added a huge goal in the first half. The Vikings were led by their powerhouse defense of Isaiah Pina, Bobby Barry, Max Ripley, Billy Lally and Colin McConkey. Noah Sinatra played an excellent game in goal. Next up is the state tournament next week with the seedings coming out later today.
2. The varsity volleyball team travels to play Joseph Case High School in the first round of the state tournament today at 4:00 PM. 1:45 dismissal.
3. The varsity football team hosts Blue Hills in the first round of the playoffs tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
4. Any student interested in joining the swim and dive team you must see Mr. Marani in room 206 as soon as possible. There will be a meeting on Nov 8 in the gym at 2 PM. You have to see Mr. Marani before this meeting.
