10.31.19 Announcements

Today's lunch is Halloween inspired. All lunches served with milk, fruit and vegetable.

Hey South Shore! Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling color coded t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches and online for $8.00 until tomorrow.

The music club will meet after school today in room 207.

Sports Announcements 10/31/19

1. The varsity volleyball team made school history Wednesday night by winning the Massachusetts Vocational Volleyball Championship. The girls beat Old Colony on the road in a close 3-2 game. Brianna Ruffin led the Vikings with 10 kills. Evelyn McCann and Amy Smalley had 6 kills apiece and Lexi Adams added another three. Audrey Manning led the Viking defense with some great digs and went 8 for 9 at the serving line. Gemma Geisler served 10/10 with 4 aces, Hannah Towle went 11 for 13, and Elizabeth Enman stepped up with some key serves in the final two games.

2. The varsity soccer team lost to Westfield Technical yesterday in the Semi-Finals of the State Vocational Tournament. The Vikings held the Tigers scoreless in the first half but let in two goals in the second half of the game. Playing hard for the Vikings was Ryder Nilson, Isaiah Pina and Bobby Barry. Noah Sinatra had an awesome game in net. They wrap up their regular season vs Old Colony today at Abington High School at 3:00. 1:50 dismissal. 


3. Any student interested in joining the swim and dive team you must see Mr. Marani in room 206 as soon as possible. There will be a meeting on Nov 8 in the gym at 2 PM. You have to see Mr. Marani before this meeting.
