11.4.19 Announcements

Today's lunch is a chicken nuggets, mashed potato and carrots. All lunches served with milk, fruit and vegetable.


Student Flu Shots are now being given during the school day at the nurses office.  Stop by and pick up a consent form.

All varsity soccer players should eat 1st lunch today at 10:27.

Sports Announcements 11/4/19

1. The varsity football team defeated Blue Hills 42-36 in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday. After falling behind 30-0 early in the second quarter, the Vikings were able to score twice to cut the lead to 30-14 heading into the half. Brian McClain connected with receivers Dylan McCue, Bobby Fettig, and Sean McGuirk to lead them down the field on both drives. The Vikings opened up the second half with a 9 play 70-yard drive that ended with a 25-yard touchdown reception by Josh Carignan. After both teams failed to score on the following two drives, the Vikings scored the equalizer when McClain found Carignan again for a 15-yard touchdown pass with just over a minute left. Joe Parker added the two-point conversion to send the game to overtime. After Blue Hills started with the ball and scored, Parker answered with a touchdown run to send the game to double OT. After keeping Blue Hills out of the endzone, Parker scored the game winner to send the Vikings to the second round. They will travel to play Old Colony on Saturday. 

2. The varsity volleyball teams season ended Friday night with a 3-0 loss to Joseph Case in the first round of the state tournament. Hannah Towle and Lexi Adams led the Vikings with 4 kills apiece. Amy Smalley served 9/9, Audrey Manning served 6/7, and Brianna Ruffin went 6/7 with 2 aces. 

3. The varsity soccer team travels to play Westport in the first round of the state tournament today at 2:00. 11:05 dismissal, 11:15 bus. 

4. The JV football team hosts Cape Tech today at 3:00.
