SOPHOMORE CLASS MEETING - There will be a 10th grade class meeting during 9th period on Today. Students should report to their 9th period location and they will be called down at the proper time.

DRIVER'S EDUCATION - Once again, South Shore Driving Academy will be offering driver's ed courses immediately after school at SSVT.  The classes start the Monday after Thanksgiving, November 27th and run through Monday, December 18th, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. Please call South Shore Driving Academy to sign up.

Sports Announcements 10/20/17

1. The varsity volleyball team defeated Norfolk Aggie 3-0 yesterday for the first time in school history. The win clinched sole possession of 2nd place in the Mayflower league for the first time in school history. Jade Watts lead the team serving 24 out of 25 with 9 aces and 5 kills. Rory Sneyd had a solid game in the front row with 6 kills and 4 blocks. Also playing well was Rebecca Cooke and Nicole Silva combining 27 for 30 in serving .

2. The JV1 volleyball team lost a tough match to Norfolk Aggie yesterday afternoon. Alexis Burke, Evelyn McCann, Hannah Towle and Amy Smalley played well on both sides of the ball.

3. The JV2 volleyball team lost 2-0 to Norfolk Aggie yesterday. Christina Klein and Allura Johnson served well for the vikings. 

4. The freshman football team improved to 4-1 with a 20-0 win over Upper Cape yesterday. Matt Richards ran in two touchdowns and threw a long touchdown to Jared Doyle who made a remarkable catch in the corner of the end zone. Dom King and Matt Veiga led a great all around effort on defense. 

5. The varsity football team plays an important game at Upper Cape tomorrow at 12:00 as they are looking to help qualify for the playoffs.
