Hey South Shore! Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling color coded t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches and online for $8.00 until Friday.
The music club will meet after school tomorrow in room 207.
Sports Announcements 11/30/19
1. The varsity volleyball team beat Keefe Tech 3-1 in the first round of the state vocational tournament Tuesday night. The girls lost the first game 25-23, but came back with a dominant performance in the second game, beating Keefe 25-12. They took the next two sets 25-14 and 25-17. Brianna Ruffin led the Vikings with 9 kills, Lexi Adams had 5 kills, and Evelyn McCann added another 3. Audrey Manning played well defensively and went 20 for 22 at the serving line with 9 aces, Amy Smalley went 11 for 11 with one ace, Hannah Towle went 10 for 12 with 2 aces, and Aly Pike went 6 for 6 with one ace. The Vikings travel to play Old Colony in the championship game today at 5:00. 3:00 bus.
The JV1 volleyball team ended their season beating Abington in two straight sets. Thea team played awesome as a unit. Serving well was Gemma Geisler, Grace McCarthy and Amya Doyle. Congrats ladies on a great year.
The JV2 volleyball team came up just a couple of points short in a tightly contested match against Abington. Strong serving from Zoey Bradshaw and Mari Demaggio and strong overall play from McKennzie Jepsen helped keep the Vikings momentum in a very evenly played match. The Vikings lost the deciding set 14-16 fighting to the very end. It was the final game of a great season.
2. The JV soccer team lost to West Bridgewater yesterday. Owen Caruso scored for the Vikings. Kyle Gordinier and Scott Brodie played well in their final game of the season.
3. The freshman football team travels to play Holbrook today at 3:30. 1:45 dismissal, 2:00 bus.
4. The cross country team travels to compete in the state vocational championship today at 1:00 PM. 11:00 AM dismissal, 11:15 bus.
5. The soccer team travels to play Westfield Tech in the first round of the state vocational tournament today at 5:00 PM. 1:15 dismissal, 1:30 bus.
