Hey South Shore! Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling color coded t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches and online for $8.00
Sports Announcements 10/28/19
1. The varsity football team defeated Old Colony 14-13 in the final game of the regular season to win the league title on Saturday. Brian McClain completed timely passes throughout the game to Josh Carignan and Bobby Fettig. Joe Parker ran the ball well for the Vikings, scoring two touchdowns and a two point conversion. Ashton Gabler recovered a fumble after a muffed punt to set the Vikings up for the game winning touchdown. The defense played great led by Sean McGuirk and Joe Parker. They earned a 3 seed in the state tournament and will host Blue Hills this Saturday.
2. The cross country team ran well in the Mayflower League championship on Friday. Sean Sidoti finished 7th in the division making him a league all-star for the third straight year. Freshman Tyler Williams finished 2nd overall in the JV race. They compete in the state vocational championship on Wednesday.
3. The JV2, JV1, and varsity volleyball teams host Abington in a triple header today starting at 3:30. This is the final game of the regular season for all three teams. The varsity team hosts Keefe Tech in the first round of the vocational tournament tomorrow at 5:30.
4. The varsity soccer team hosts Old Colony today at 3:30.
