All student drivers are reminded that due to programming changes at First Baptist Church they will no longer be allowing South Shore students to park in their lot. We expect that you abide by their needs.
The Drama Club is starting soon, and is looking for new members!
We are looking for set designers and builders, stage hands, lighting and sound technicians, actors as well as costume and make up artists. The first meeting of the Drama Club will be Wednesday, September 11th, right after school, 2:30pm, in the Lecture Hal
The first meeting of the Chess Club will be Tuesday, September 17, after school in the CCC. All students are welcome to drop in any Tuesday afternoon. No previous experience required. Check or checkmate it out!
The GSA/Equality Club is a student-led organization. Their mission is to work towards a more accepting environment for all people, regardless of how you identify, through education, support, social action, and advocacy.” Be a part of today's civil rights movement, join us for the first GSA meeting Tuesday, September 24th at 230 in the graphics shop with Mr. Mulkern and Mrs. Rutkowski.
The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 14th, from 7-10 PM, so mark your calendars. Tickets are on sale during lunches and you can get forms to take a non-SST student from Mrs. Mariani in the front office.
Sports Announcements 9/6/19
1. The golf team won their second match of the season over Norfolk Aggie 6 1/2 - 2 1/2. Colby Avila led the team with a 6 - 1 win over his opponent. Alec Moules, Logan Desmond, Harry Moore and TJ Woodward each won their matches.
2. The varsity soccer team hosts Holbropok today at 3:30.
3. The JV and varsity volleyball teams host Holbrook today at 3:30 and 5:00.
4. The varsity football team hosts Hull tomorrow to kick off their season at noon.
