Today is Friday, therefore mini-block and lunches are based upon your 1st block academic class. 

It's time to let you voice be heard. It's time to pick the faculty member of the month. All students were emailed a link that allows them to choose a deserving staff member to win for October. The winning staff member is recognized by the School Committee on October 19th.


Are you going to be 18 by November 8th, election day. Then you have the right to vote in this very important election. Please see Mrs. Glass in rm 101 after school on Monday, October 3rd, to get yourself registered in time. Let your voice be heard!

SSVT is collecting items for the area's homeless prior to winter. Please donate 
hats, lightly worn coats and clothes, and personal care items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the bin in the front office.


The first Prom Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, October 6th immediately after school in room 113.  Any junior or senior interested in joining is welcome to attend.

Students interested in Driver's Ed through South Shore Driving Academy that is held here at SSVT should visit South Shore Driving Academy's website to sign up.  Classes start October 17th and run 3 afternoons a week from 3 to 5 pm.



Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale. You can buy them in lunches or after school from Mrs. Mariani. Cost is $10 per person and if you are bringing a guest from another high school you need to get an out-of-district guest sheet as well

The golf team tied Norfolk Aggie yesterday afternoon.  John Jenkins, Colby Avila, and Matt Taylor won their matches and Jake Quin tied.

The varsity soccer team will look for their 4th win in a row when they travel to Norfolk Aggie this afternoon for a 3:30 game.  Dismissal at 1:50, bus at 2:00.

The football team will open league play tomorrow when they travel to take on Old Colony.  Kickoff for the game has been moved back to 2:30.  The bus will leave at noon.

The freshmen football team beat Old Colony yesterday.
