Good Morning,

Today is Thursday therefore, therefore mini-block and lunches are based upon your block academic 2 class.

Block 2 academic teachers please guide your students on when they should eat lunch and when they have mini-block.

Tomorrow is the first of many Fun Fridays throughout the school year. Please wear your SSVT colors on Friday to support the football team's first home game of the year, Saturday at 11 AM. We hope to see a lot of you there!

The Homework Help Center is now open. The center is staffed by school personnel and allows students to access to computers and get help with homework. Hours are from 2:30 to 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday in the library.

Student Drivers are reminded they have until this Friday to pick up their free parking pass and register their car with the school.

Freshmen and Juniors are reminded that this is the last call orange Student Handbook sign-off sheets!.Detention hours will be assigned for missing sheets.

Students interested in Driver's Ed through South Shore Driving Academy that is held here at SSVT should visit South Shore Driving Academy's website to sign up.  Classes start October 17th and run 3 afternoons a week from 3 to 5 pm.

Outdoor Adventure Club will be swinging from the trees as they conquer the high ropes of Tree Top Adventures.See Mrs. Thibodeau in Room 117 or the school website for more information

Homecoming Dance tickets go on sale Today. You can buy them in lunches or after school from Mrs. Mariani. Cost is $10 per person and if you are bringing a guest from another high school you need to get an out-of-district guest sheet as well

The varsity golf team will travel to take on Tri-County this afternoon at 3 at New England Country Club in Bellingham.  Dismissal at 1:20, mini-bus at 1:30.

The 3-0 varsity volleyball team will open league play this afternoon at 5 when they host Upper Cape. The JV1 team will get things started at 3:30.  Let’s get a good crowd out to support the girls today!

The athletic department is looking for several students interested in helping out at athletic events for the fall season.  These are paid positions.  Any interested student should see Mr. Marani in room 206.
