The Homework Help Center is now open. The center is staffed by school personnel and allows students to access to computers and get help with homework. Hours are from 2:30 to 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday in the library. It is not open today
Student Drivers are reminded they have until this Friday to pick up their free parking pass and register their car with the school.

Students interested in Driver's Ed through South Shore Driving Academy that is held here at SSVT should visit South Shore Driving Academy's website to sign up. Classes start October 17th and run 3 afternoons a week from 3 to 5 pm.

Homecoming Dance tickets go on sale Today. You can buy them in lunches or after school from Mrs. Mariani. Cost is $10 per person and if you are bringing a guest from another high school you need to get an out-of-district guest sheet as well
The varsity volleyball team improved to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in the league with a thrilling 3-2 win over Upper Cape yesterday! The girls raced out to a 2-0 lead before Upper Cape rallied to tie the match 2-2 and take the lead in the 5th. Our girls hung tough though and were able to pull out a 15-13 win in the deciding set. Mariah Leines led the way with 9 kills and 1 block, while Jenna Grande added 2 blocks and 5 kills. Jade Watts had three blocks, six kills, and went 19 for 20 at the serving line with six aces. Saylor Molineaux was 14 for 14 serving, with three aces. Cassidy Burt and Dakota Bagley also came up big on defense for the Vikings. The girls will be back on the court today when they host Southeastern at 5.
The JV volleyball team lost to Upper Cape yesterday afternoon. Gianna Cook led the team with 4 kills, and Carly Shawkey, Alexis Burke, and Cyairra Lowe had 4 aces apiece. They will host Southeastern today at 3:30.
The golf team lost to Tri-County yesterday. Hayden Potts won his match to earn the team a point.
The football team will play their home opener tomorrow morning at 11 against West Bridgewater. Hope to see a big crowd out there!
The athletic department is looking for several students interested in helping out at athletic events for the fall season. These are paid positions. Any interested student should see Mr. Marani in room 206.
