10.22.19 Announcements

Today's lunch is Chicken Nuggets with Rice Pilaf. All lunches served with milk, fruit and vegetable.

GSA club will have their second meeting today at 2:30pm in the graphics shop. Returning and new members of staff and students are welcome.

There will be a brief meeting for all students who take bus route #8 at 2:10 today in the cafeteria. Please wait for the announcement.

Music Club will meet on Thursday from 2:30-3:30 in room 207.  All are welcome

Hey South Shore! Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling color coded t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches and online for $8.00

SST will be partnering with UMASS Lowell to offer courses for juniors and seniors towards an engineering certificate here at SST.  Each class will earn the student three college credits through UMASS Lowell and will be composed of students from various area high schools.  Due to the storm last week the first offered class will be held Thursday night from 6 to 9PM here at SST.  The class will be offered through UMASS Lowell at a cost but will be taught by Mr. Gentile and Mr. Shaw, if you are interested please reach out to either of them.

Sports Announcements 10/22/19

1. The varsity soccer team beat Avon yesterday 6-0. Noah Sinatra picked up another shutout in goal. Emmanuel Osorio and Shayne Griffith had two goals each. Dagim Bahros and Ryder Nilson added one each. The ball movement by the Vikings and the strong defense led to the team win. 

2. The varsity volleyball team beat Avon in three games Monday night, 26-24, 25-10, and 25-21. Aly Pike served 19 for 20 with 7 aces and Evelyn McCann recorded 4 kills in the victory.

3. The JV football team defeated Bristol-Plymouth 22-0. Tyler Richards, Marcus Bouzan, and Ashton Gabler scored touchdowns for the Vikings. 

4. The JV soccer team hosts Calvary Chapel Academy today at 3:30.


5. The golf team will have their team photo taken this afternoon at 2:30 in the gym both varsity and JV will need their white game shirts
