Thank you to everyone, staff and students, who participated in making our Open House such a resounding success.
SST will be partnering with UMASS Lowell to offer courses for juniors and seniors towards an engineering certificate here at SST. Each class will earn the student three college credits through UMASS Lowell and will be composed of students from various area high schools. Due to the storm last week the first offered class will be held Thursday night from 6 to 9PM here at SST. The class will be offered through UMASS Lowell at a cost but will be taught by Mr. Gentile and Mr. Shaw, if you are interested please reach out to either of them.
Sports Announcements 10/21/19
1. The varsity football team defeated Blue Hills 28-22 on Saturday. The Vikings trailed 14-6 early in the game before scoring two unanswered touchdowns to take a 22-14 lead into the half. Blue Hills tied the game at 22 before a 9-yard touchdown pass from Brian McClain to Matt Richards proved to be the winning score. McClain also had two rushing touchdowns. Joe Parker added a rushing touchdown and Bobby Fettig had 5 receptions in the win.
2. The varsity volleyball team lost a close 3-2 match at Holbrook Friday night. Aly Pike was 23 for 23 at the serving line with 5 aces. Brianna Ruffin had 5 kills and Evelyn McCann added another four.
3. The JV1 and varsity volleyball teams host Avon today at 3:30 and 5:00.
4. The cross country team hosts Sacred Heart today at 3:30.
5. The varsity soccer team travels to play Avon today at 3:30. 2:05 dismissal, 2:15 bus.
6. The JV football team travels to play Bristol-Plymouth today at 3:30. 1:50 dismissal, 2:00 bus.
7. The golf team will have their team photo taken on Tuesday afternoon @ 2:30 in the gym both varsity and JV will need their white game shirts
