9.17.19 Announcements

Today's Lunch: Baked Potato Bar!  The Salad Bar will be closed for the week. If a student would like to order a pre-made salad please stop by the kitchen early in the day. 

All students are reminded that they should be wearing their IDs when not in the shop. If you have lost your ID, maybe you chose to throw it away in haste or were not here on picture day please stop by the Main Office and see Mrs. Litchfield for a temporary ID. Students without IDs will be receiving an hour of detention.

Due to a faculty meeting, teachers will be unavailable to meet with students after school today. If you need extra help please make use of the Homework Help Center in the CCC after school. 

South Shore Driving Academy will be running the classroom portion of driver's ed here at SST from Tuesday, October 8-Monday, November 4th. 2:30pm-5:45pm. Mon, Tues and Thurs's. 
They will not be having class on Columbus Day.  Anyone interested can sign up directly with the South Shore Driving Academy in Hanson.


The first meeting of the Chess Club will be today after school in room 201.  All students are welcome to drop in any Tuesday afternoon. No previous experience required.  Check or checkmate it out!

The GSA/Equality Club is a student-led organization. Their mission is to work towards a more accepting environment for all people, regardless of how you identify, through education, support, social action, and advocacy.”  Be a part of today's civil rights movement, join us for the first GSA meeting Tuesday, September 24th at 230 in the graphics shop with Mr. Mulkern and Mrs. Rutkowski.

Sports Announcements 9/17/19 

1. The JV Soccer team lost to Tri-County yesterday. The Vikings went down with a fight led by Kyle Gordiniers leadership on defense and Gavin MacVarish playing hard. Ben Conneen had a dynamite first game in the net for the Vikings having multiple saves and only letting up 3 goals.

2. The varsity soccer team lost to Tri-County yesterday. Playing hard for the Vikings was Ryder Nilsson and Bobby Barry. 

3. The JV football team defeated Cape Tech 28-6. Playing well for the Vikings was Tyler Richards with 3 rushing touchdowns.  Jack White added a touchdown. Korey Lawson and Ashton Gabler played well on Defense.  

4. The JV1 and varsity volleyball teams host Old Colony today at 3:30 and 5:00. 

5. The JV2 volleyball team travels to play Old Colony today at 3:30. 1:40 dismissal, 1:50 bus. 

6. The cross country team travels to Cape Tech for a meet today at 3:30. 1:30 dismissal, 1:40 bus.
