Hey South Shore! The Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling colored t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches for $8.00. $7 if you donate a food item for the food drive at time of purchase. Go Vikings!
Student council is running its annual food drive so make sure to bring in any non-perishable food items and add them to the food drive donation box in the cafeteria. Last year we were able to donate over 300 food items and raised over $200. Let’s see what we can do this year!

The Ambassadors have started a care package for the residents of Haiti. They are looking for basic everyday needs. Tooth Brushes, Tooth paste, Deodorant, Clothes, etc. They will be keeping a box in Mr. Bello's office across from HVAC.

SSVT is collecting items for the area's homeless prior to winter. Please donate hats, lightly worn coats and clothes, and personal care items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the bin in the front lobby.
Please give generously to both these excellent causes.
Congratulations to the boys cross country team on its first ever league championship! They swept Bristol Aggie and Tri-County yesterday to improve to 12-0 on the season. They will run their last regular season race on Monday against Diman at home in a battle of undefeated teams
The varsity volleyball team fell to first place Norfolk Aggie yesterday afternoon. Jade Watts played well with 3 kills and 2 blocks, while Saylor Molineaux served 18-19 with 2 aces. Adriana Reis played a strong game defensively to win the team’s hoodie award. The girls will travel to Old Colony on Friday.
The JV1 volleyball team won their 2nd straight game yesterday over Norfolk Aggie. Nicole Silva served 13-13 with 4 aces and added a kill. Rory Sneyd played well with 6 kills and a block and Alexis Burke and Gianna Cook combined for 6 kills. Hannah Towle had a great game defensively.
The JV2 volleyball came from behind to take the first set against Norfolk Aggie but eventually lost the match. Lexi Adams, Maddie Dixon, and Brianna Ruffin continued their strong serving. Ryan Mahoney chipped in with 2 kills. The team will host Old Colony this afternoon at 3:30.
The varsity soccer team ran its unbeaten streak to 9 games with a convincing win over Calvary Chapel Academy yesterday afternoon. Jeromy Andrade recorded another hat trick and added an assist. George Cook, Trevor Simmons, Paulo Chaves, Nick Rafferty, and Joey Williams also scored goals. The team will host Norfolk Aggie this afternoon at 3:30.
The golf team ended its season on a positive note, defeating Rockland in their annual Ryder Cup style competition. With the win they took home the “hard hat” trophy for the first time in 5 years. It was a total team effort, great job by everyone!
