Hey South Shore! The Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling colored t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches for $8.00. $7 if you donate a food item for the food drive at time of purchase. Go Vikings!
Student council is running its annual food drive so make sure to bring in any non-perishable food items and add them to the food drive donation box in the cafeteria. Last year we were able to donate over 300 food items and raised over $200. Let’s see what we can do this year!

The Ambassadors have started a care package for the residents of Haiti. They are looking for basic everyday needs. Tooth Brushes, Tooth paste, Deodorant, Clothes, etc. They will be keeping a box in Mr. Bello's office across from HVAC.

SSVT is collecting items for the area's homeless prior to winter. Please donate hats, lightly worn coats and clothes, and personal care items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the bin in the front lobby.
Please give generously to both these excellent causes.
The JV football team defeated Blue Hills yesterday 20-16. Dom Georgakakis caught a touchdown pass and ran for another. Le’roy Scott ran for the other touchdown. Max Fine led the defense, who pitched a shutout in the second half to help seal the win.
The varsity volleyball team lost a hard fought match to Holbrook yesterday 3-1. Jenna Grande had 6 kills, Jade Watts had 8 kills and 3 blocks, and Saylor Molineaux served 23-24 with2 aces. The team will host league leader Norfolk Aggie this afternoon in the team’s annual Dig Pink game. The varsity game will start around 5. Come out and support the team and a great cause, all proceeds from today’s game will be donated.
The JV1 volleyball team beat Holbrook yesterday 2-1. Gianna Cook led the team, serving 8-8 with aces plus 2 kills. Alexis Burke and Rory Sneyd also played well. The team will kick off the Dig Pink doubleheader at 3:30 today against Norfolk Aggie.
The JV2 volleyball team recorded its first win of the season yesterday over Sacred Heart. The team was led by the strong serving of Mia Quattlebaum, Maddie Dixon, and Brianna Ruffin. Strong net play by Amy Smalley helped seal the win. The team will travel to Norfolk Aggie this afternoon at 3:30. Dismissal at 1:50, bus at 2:00.
The golf team lost to Upper Cape yesterday. Colby Avila recorded points for the team. They will take on Rockland this afternoon at 3 at Rockland Golf Course. The team will be dismissed at 2:15.
The boys and girls cross country teams will travel to Tri-County this afternoon for a tri-meet. The undefeated boys team will be looking to wrap up the league championship today. The race goes off at 3:30. Dismissal at 1:40, bus at 1:50.
The varsity soccer team will look to extend their unbeaten streak this afternoon when they host Calvary Chapel Academy at 3:30.
