SSVT is collecting items for the area's homeless prior to winter. Please donate hats, lightly worn coats and clothes, and personal care items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the bin in the front office.
The Math Team will meet after school on Thursday in rm 116.
This Friday will be wear Orange or Gold in awareness of the fight against childhood cancer.
Attention all students: Student Handbook sign-off sheets are now overdue. Detention hours will be handed out for not returning your slip start today. Please return them to the main office immediately. If you need a new one see the main office.

Students interested in Driver's Ed through South Shore Driving Academy that is held here at SSVT should visit South Shore Driving Academy's website to sign up. Classes start October 17th and run 3 afternoons a week from 3 to 5 pm.
Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale. You can buy them in lunches or after school from Mrs. Mariani. Cost is $10 per person and if you are bringing a guest from another high school you need to get an out-of-district guest sheet as well
1. The boys cross country team improved to 6-0 on the season with a sweep of Sacred Heart, West Bridgewater, and Upper Cape yesterday. Kyle Potts finished 1st overall in a field of over 60 runners. Ryan Glynn placed 4th, followed by Matt McAndrew 6th, Alex McPherson 13th, and Chandler McQueeney 16th. They will host Bishop Connolly and Norfolk Aggie next Tuesday.
2. The golf team lost to Blue Hills yesterday 6-3. Senior co-captain John Jenkins won his match, shooting his best round of the year. Colby Avila also won his match, while Jake Quin shot his best round and recorded his first birdie.
3. The varsity volleyball team lost to Norfolk Aggie yesterday 3-1. Jade Watts served 12-14 with 5 aces and added 10 kills. Cassidy Burt played a strong defensive game. The team will host Old Colony tomorrow.
4. The JV1 volleyball team lost to Norfolk Aggie yesterday. Alexis Burke and Cyairra Lowe continued their strong serving, combining to serve 16-17 with 6 aces.
5. The varsity soccer team will look for its 3rd win in a row when they host Bristol Aggie this afternoon at 3:30
