Good Morning,

Today is Tuesday, therefore mini-block and lunches are based upon your block academic 2 class.

Block 2 academic teachers please guide your students for when you eat lunch and when you have class and where your mini-block meets. \

This Friday is the first of many Fun Fridays throughout the school year. Please wear your SSVT colors on Friday to support the football team's first home game of the year, Saturday at 11 AM. We hope to see a lot of you there!

The Homework Help Center is now open. The center is staffed by school personnel and allows students to access to computers and get help with homework. Hours are from 2:30 to 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday in the library.

Freshmen and Juniors are reminded that orange Student Handbook sign-off sheets are now overdue!.

All drama members and those interested in joining drama, please meet in Mr. Savage's room, 115 A on Wednesday, September 14th.


Outdoor Adventure Club will be swinging from the trees as they conquer the high ropes of Tree Top Adventures.See Mrs. Thibodeau in Room 117 or the school website for more information

Homecoming Dance tickets go on sale Thursday. You can buy them in lunches or after school from Mrs. Mariani. Cost is $10 per person and if you are bringing a guest from another high school you need to get an out-of-district guest sheet as well

The JV football team fought hard to erase a 22-0 deficit but eventually fell 22-14 to Southeastern yesterday.  Pat Wilson and Rob Dockendorff scored the Viking touchdowns.

Jeromy Andrade’s 2nd goal of the game put the soccer team ahead 3-2 heading into halftime, but Southeastern was able to rally and win the game 4-3.  Trevor Simmons also scored in the game.  The team will look to bounce back this afternoon when they host Calvary Chapel Academy at 3:30.

The golf team lost to Blue Hills yesterday, but will be right back on the course this afternoon when they host Southeastern at Rockland Golf Course at 3.

The boys and girls cross country teams will host Holbrook this afternoon in their home opener.  The race will begin at 3:30 out back by the field.

The varsity and JV1 volleyball teams will host Avon this afternoon at 3:30 and 5.  The varsity team is looking to continue its successful start to the year and move to 3-0.

The athletic department is looking for several students interested in helping out at athletic events for the fall season.  These are paid positions.  Any interested student should see Mr. Marani in room 206.
