Announcements:

The First Annual South Shore Votech Chalkfest is being held on May 14th. Posters are hung around the school with information and a QR code for registration.

The cost per square is 5 dollars, the first 50 south shore students to register by Friday, April 29th pay $2.50 per square


Thank you to all those students, faculty, and friends that came out to support Nick in the walkathon this past Saturday. Between the online donations and community support, we hopefully can make a difference for Nick and his family. Thank you to the Student Council led by Junior Class President Joe Ercolini and Mr. Fallano for hosting such a fabulous event. 


Clubs & Sports:

The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team defeated Old Colony 9-7 on Saturday.  Peyton Mathisen led the team in scoring with 4 goals.  Sophie Bovill and Bella Humphries played well in the midfield.  Andrea Fernandes and Kaylin Hicks were strong on the defensive end.  The team has a home game today at 3:30 versus Bristol Plymouth.


South shore Vikings softball beat Cape cod tech 19-2. Zoey Bradshaw went 5-5 with a grand slam and 5 RBIs. Grace McCarthy, Avery Cina, and Sarah Walsh all had solo home runs for the Vikings. McKenzie Jepsen went 2-4 with 5 RBIs. On the mound Jepsen had 7 K’s


Today is…

Melanoma Monday. The first Monday in May raises awareness of the symptoms, causes, and prevention of the disease. 1 out of every 50 Americans at some point in their lifetime will develop melanoma. There are many ways to prevent melanoma so, today, take extra time to learn how to reduce your risk!
