Announcements:
The National Honor Society is hosting a candy drive to help the homeless. From now until April 13th, please bring in bags of individually wrapped candy (ex. Easter Candy, fun-size candy bars, etc) to benefit a local homeless shelter. Donation boxes can be found in the cafe, room 117, and room 121.
Clubs & Sports:
The varsity boys lacrosse team defeated Tri-County 12-7. Harry Moore set a new school record with 9 goals. Brady Cook added 3 goals and 4 assists. Tanner Graden played well in the net and Todd Egan helped control the ball in the midfield.
The JV boys lacrosse team defeated Tri-County 7-5. Brennan Moore led the team with 2 goals. Pat McGuirk, Aidan Burbine, and Ethan Collins all played well for the Vikings.
Softball lost to Holbrook 14-5. Freshman Hannah Dailey went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Zoey Bradshaw, Grace McCarthy, Tiana Macdonald, and Lexi Mitsiopoulos all scored for the Vikings.
The girl's varsity lacrosse team lost 12-6 to Tri-County. Sophie Bovill, Peyton Mathisen, and Sofia Grasso scored for the Vikings. Kaylin Hicks played well in the net.
Boys Varsity Baseball defeated Holbrook yesterday. In his first Varsity start, Freshman Tyrin McDonald scattered 4 hits while going the distance to earn his first Varsity victory. Offensively the Vikings were led by Jake McAleer, Jack Lewis, Garret Morris, and Jake Starbird with each having 2 doubles apiece.
