Announcements:

The First Annual South Shore Votech Chalkfest is being held on May 14th. Posters are hung around the school with information and a QR code for registration.

The cost per square is 5 dollars, the first 50 south shore students to register by Friday, April 29th pay $2.50 per square


Today some students are observing a day of silence to shine a light and awareness on the challenges members of the LGBTQ community face on a daily basis. If you would like more information or be a visibly supportive ally visit: .glsen.org. To break the silence there will be a GSA meeting this Thursday 4/26 at 230 in the graphics shop. Please see Mrs. Rutkowski with any questions.


Attention seniors:  The Parent’s Association will be distributing free lawn signs to students on Monday, May 3rd, from 145 -230 pm as students leave. Lawn signs can not be brought on to school buses for safety reasons and therefore the parents will be here from 630 to 700 pm.


Clubs & Sports:

The Vikings softball team beat Blue Hills 23-10. Leading the Viking's offense was McKenzie Jepsen who went 4-4 (2 RBIs) and Mia Bradshaw who went 5-6 with a double and triple (3 RBIs). Zoey Bradshaw went 3-5 with a triple (2 RBIs) and Tiana MacDonald went 4-5 with a home run. The rest of the Vikings added two hits. McKenzie Jepsen had 9 strikeouts on the mound.


The JV boys baseball team played a competitive game against blue hills regional yesterday but just came up short by a score of 3-1. Jeremy Jackson pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts on the mound, and the team had solid ball to bat contact at the plate. Next game is this Friday at Rockland.
