Announcements:
The National Honor Society is hosting a candy drive to help the homeless. From now until April 13th, please bring in bags of individually wrapped candy (ex. Easter Candy, fun-size candy bars, etc) to benefit a local homeless shelter. Donation boxes can be found in the cafe, room 117, and room 121.
A reminder that all students interested in attending the White Water Rafting Trip in May need to have their materials to Mr. Carll in room 309 TODAY!
All students are reminded that they need to be in their 1st-period class at 7:40 each morning. Students who are constantly late will earn detention hours as well as loss of privileges including parking spots.
Clubs & Sports:
The Viking baseball team won their season opener against Holbrook by the score of 13 - 2.
Picking up the win was Tommy Jenkins with 4 strong innings of pitching followed up by Jack Lewis in relief who recorded 5 strikeouts. Leading the hitting attack were Ellery Campbell and Tyler Holmes with 2 hits and 2 RBIs apiece.
Tonight is the 1st night of the Drama Club’s production of “Check Please.” We hope all our young thespians “break a leg.”

The first day of National Volunteer Month. Most often unpaid and underappreciated volunteers generously donate a part of their lives to do the work that needs to be done but lacks the manpower to get it done. If given an opportunity to volunteer there month, don’t shy away, embrace it.
