Clubs & Sports:
The hockey team beat Upper Cape tech 3 - 2.. Jacob McAleer led the scoring with two goals including the game-winner. Ethan Collins recorded his first varsity goal which tied the game. Tommy Jenkins had two assists while Connor Paquette recorded the win in the net.
The Boys' Basketball team defeated South Shore Christian Friday night. Playing well for the Vikings was Jesse Lyons with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Brandon LaFleur had 13 points and Todd Egan added 10.
Girls basketball beat South Shore Christian 42-30. The Bradshaw sisters combined for 20 points. Abby Pattison added 10 points. The girls are now 5-1 on the season.
The Rockland South Shore Tech Swim Team faced a tough Cohasset Swim Team Sunday. . Boys lost 67 to 82 and the Girls lost 57 to 81. Even though the scores do not reflect it, the Rockland SST kids swam well, showed great sportsmanship, and cheered on everyone. Highlights included
- the girls' 200 free with our girls and boys placing with best times 2nd & 4th- Kyleigh, Lilianna, David, and Maxx.
- Lucas S crushed his 200IM and 100 breast races,
- Celia & Leo came back after being sick all week and got their best times,
- Celia won the 100 free and Leo was 2nd.
- Antonio swam the 100 free and 500 free back to back and got his best times in both,
- Jess & Maxx flew in their 100fly race,
- Liam dropped 15 seconds in his 500 free,
- Lilly A had a great showing in the relays,
- Lucas W had the best times in his 50 free and 100 back and
- Aimee had her best time in her 100 back.
Our next meet is Sunday, Jan 22 against Norwell, at Scituate Racquet 7pm start.
