Announcements:

Class shirts continue to be sold at all lunches and before school and after school in room 205.


Homecoming sales will continue during lunches starting this week. The cost is $10. Outside guests must have a signed permission form before a ticket sale will be made. Slips are available at lunch or in room 205 before and after school.


Clubs & Sports:

Do you love robots? Do you love STEM? Come join the Robotics Club! In this club you will have the opportunity to design, build, and program a robot to compete in VEX Robotics Competitions. We will meet TODAY after school in RM 306! No experience is necessary.


The Chess Club will be meeting on Wednesdays beginning next week in rm 309.

 

There will be a meeting for all students interested in wrestling this year in the gym @ 1:45 on Friday 10/7 with the coach.


The varsity volleyball team clinched a spot in the state tournament and remains undefeated after beating Upper Cape Wednesday night. They are now 10-0. Gemma Geisler had 6 kills and served 27 for 28 with 8 aces. Zoey Bradshaw had 8 kills and Mia Bradshaw served 14/14. Taylor lines also went on an impressive 7-point serving run in the third set.


The JV2 Girl's Volleyball Team, led by the strong serving of Fenway Valiente defeated Upper Cape 2-0.  Fenway helped the Vikings pull away in the first game by serving 9 serves in a row.  Passes from Leo Terone and Chloe Mason set up the attack multiple times during the match.  Fenway Valiente and Maeghan Hallisey led the team in assists and Laci Shirriff and Victoria Patterson in hits.  Elizabeth Keene and Ana de Abreu contributed 3 serves each in the win.  The Vikings play in Abington on Friday at 4:45 pm.
