Clubs & Sports:
Congratulations to Zoey Bradshaw, Lexi Mistiopoulos, Izabella Perciavalle, and Taylor Walker for bringing home a bronze team award in Floriculture at FFA Nationals in Indianapolis last week. These girls competed against 45 other states and Puerto Rico. Most importantly, we want to recognize that this is the first team to represent South Shore Tech at the national level. Congratulations to all.
The varsity volleyball team (18-3) defeated Cape Cod Tech 3-0 in the semi-final round of the MVADA tournament Saturday afternoon. South Shore will host the championship game against Norfolk Tuesday at 5 pm. Gemma Geisler served 13/14 and had 10 kills, Zoey Bradshaw served 9/9 and had 4 kills, Hannah Nota had 5 kills, Mia Bradshaw had 19 assists, Julia Da Silva served 9/10, and Alli Traynor served 8/8.
The varsity football team defeated Southeastern 16-8 to improve to 5-3 on the season. Todd Egan rushed for 125 yards and 1 touchdown. Jared Madden rushed for 78 yards. Max Main had a rushing touchdown
