Announcements:

The First Annual South Shore Votech Chalkfest is being held on May 14th. Posters are hung around the school with information and a QR code for registration.

The cost per square is 5 dollars, the first 50 south shore students to register by Friday April 29th pay $2.50 per square


Horticulture will have a table set up in the cafe during lunches on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for students to pre-order prom corsages and boutonnieres. Students are to pay in cash ahead of time. First come first serve, supplies are limited. Corsages and Boutonnieres are $5 each.


Clubs & Sports:

South Shore softball beat Blue Hills 11-8. Tiana MacDonald led the Vikings going 3-3 at the plate with 5 RBIs. Grace McCarthy went 3-4 with 3 RBIs. McKenzie Jepsen went 2-4 with an RBI.


The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team defeated Bristol Plymouth 11-5.  Peyton Mathisen and Sofia Grasso each had 3 goals and 1 assist.  Sophie Bovill played well in the midfield.  Kaylin Hicks recorded 10 saves in the net.  The team plays at Hull today.


The varsity boys lacrosse team improved to 9-0 in league play with a win over Bristol-Plymouth. Brady Cook led the team with 7 goals and 2 assists. Todd Egan added 4 goals and an assist. Owin Lemere, Aidan Burbine, Ben Tondorf, and Chris Ritter all played well for the Vikings.

National Teacher Day is observed on the first Tuesday of the first full week of May. Established in 1953 by First Lady Elanor Roosevelt this day is meant to recognize teachers that have impacted your life. Why not give them a shout-out in a quick note or a shout-out on social media.
