The D & D and Chess clubs will meet after school today in the CCC.
Sports Announcements 2/4/20
1. The hockey team beat Cardinal Spellman 2 - 0. Cole Sheehan got the game winner in the first period and Marcus Bouzan added an open netter. Freshman Connor Paquette recorded his first varsity shutout.
2. The varsity girls basketball team defeated Sacred Heart 56-33. Brianna Ruffin led the team with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Maddie Dixon and Lexi Adams each added 9 points for the Vikings.
3. The JV1 girls basketball team defeated Calvary Chapel yesterday. Mandy Howe chipped in 10 points while Evelyn McCann added 6 points. Mekhyah Rosa and Megan Sheehan played well defensively.
4. The JV2 girls basketball team defeated Sacred Heart yesterday. Madison Sullivan had 6 points, Alli Traynor went 5 for 6 from the line and Mari Demaggio added 8 points. Nora Walsh, Gemma Geisler and Lilly Bovill played well for the Vikings adding a spark on defense. Cassy Nigro was a beast on the boards.
5. The varsity boys basketball team qualified for the state tournament with a win over Sacred Heart. Leading the Vikings was Jerome Overstreet with 16 points. Kyle Schlieff had 14 points and Evan Ochenduszko added 10.
6. The JV boys basketball team improved to 11-2 with a win over Sacred Heart. Playing well for the vikings was Logan Desmond, Dylan McCue and Lucas Evans.
7. There is a meeting for anyone interested in playing girls lacrosse this spring today in room 304 after school.
8. There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing baseball on Thursday at 2:00 in the gym
