Sports Announcements 9/25/19
1. The cross country team split their tri-meet yesterday, losing to Bishop Connolly (15-50) but defeating Holbrook (25-29). Jaiden Rogers was the top finisher for the Vikings with Bryce Parkinson, Jovannie Rodriguez, PJ Leoncavallo, and Josh Burke rounding out the Vikings top 5.
2. The golf team beat Blue Hills 7 - 2. Brenden Connolly shot a 31 to lead the team. Alex Moules, Logan Desmond and Robert Kovalski each won their matches.
3. The varsity volleyball team lost a close 3-1 match at Cape Tech Tuesday afternoon. The Vikings are now 3-1 in league play, and 5-2 overall.
4. The JV1 volleyball team beat Cape Tech 2-0 Tuesday afternoon. Bridget Kinsella, Ayla Ludlow, Christina Klein, and Amya Doyle all went on serving runs and played well in the match.
5. A total team effort helped the JV2 Volleyball team defeat Cape Tech in 3 games. The front row fought hard for every point with strong performances from Cassie Nigro, Paige Kelly and Taylor Walker. Clutch serving from Zoey Bradshaw, Nora Walsh & Gabby Prado helped seal the win.
6. The JV soccer team hosts Old Colony today at 3:30.
7. The varsity soccer team travels to play Old Colony today at 3:30. 1:40 dismissal, 1:50 bus.
