9.20.19 Announcements

Today's Lunch: Orange Chicken and Fried Rice. The Salad Bar will be closed for the week. If a student would like to order a pre-made salad please stop by the kitchen early in the day. 

All students are reminded that they should be wearing their IDs when not in the shop. If you have lost your ID, maybe you chose to throw it away in haste or were not here on picture day please stop by the Main Office and see Mrs. Litchfield for a temporary ID. Students without IDs will be receiving an hour of detention.

South Shore Driving Academy will be running the classroom portion of driver's ed here at SST starting next Tuesday. 2:30pm-5:45pm on Mon, Tues and Thurs's. 
They will not be having class on Columbus Day.  Anyone interested can sign up directly with the South Shore Driving Academy in Hanson.


The GSA/Equality Club is a student-led organization. Their mission is to work towards a more accepting environment for all people, regardless of how you identify, through education, support, social action, and advocacy.”  Be a part of today's civil rights movement, join us for the first GSA meeting Tuesday at 230 in the graphics shop with Mr. Mulkern and Mrs. Rutkowski.

Sports Announcements 9/20/19

1. The varsity volleyball team improved to 3-0 in league play and 4-2 overall Thursday night at Upper Cape Tech.  Elizabeth Enman and Gemma Geisler served well in the 3-1 win. Brianna Ruffin and Evelyn McCann each had 6 kills. They travel to play Southeastern today at 5:00. 1:50 dismissal, 2:00 bus. 

2. The JV1 volleyball team beat league rival Upper Cape 2-0 yesterday. Bridget Kinsella, Elizabeth Enman and Delia O'Rourke played well in the win to help the Vikings improve to 4-1 on the season. Allie Trainer had her first JV experience serving 6 for 6. They travel to play Southeastern today at 3:30. 1:50 dismissal, 2:00 bus. 

3. The JV2 Volleyball team served their way to a 2 - 0 win over Upper Cape.  Ace serving from Aly Traynor, McKennzie Jepsen, Kelsey Deschamps and Zoey Bradshaw disrupted Upper Cape's passing.  Two great saves by Zoey Bradshaw and one from McKennzie Jepsen kept the ball off the floor, keeping the Viking side in control.  They are now 3 -1 and host Southeastern today at 3:30. 

4. The golf team lost to West Bridgewater 3 1/2" - 5 1/2". Logan Desmond and Harry Moore won their matches.

5. The freshman football team lost to Upper Cape 28-12. Brayden Webster and Jared Madden scored touchdowns for the Vikings. 


6. The JV and varsity soccer teams travel to play Upper Cape today at 3:30. 1:40 dismissal, 1:50 bus. 

7. Finally, today's Varsity football game against West Bridgewater has been cancelled.
