BLUE OUT DAY
2.9 Million Cases of child abuse are reported each year in the United States alone. During Child Abuse Awareness months of March and April, NHS has been selling raffle tickets at lunch. We are also asking your help to bring awareness to the issue this Thursday, April 13th, with Child Abuse Awareness Blue Out Day. Dress in blue this Thursday to help bring this cause the attention it desperately needs
BPA HAT DAY
This Thursday there will be another hat day. Hat day stickers cost $1 and are available from Mr. Zavatsky in CIT or any BPA member.
NHS FUNDRAISER
The National Honor Society is raising funds to support the Elizabeth Stone House which helps victims of abuse cope with trauma. Raffle tickets are being sold at lunches for 1 dollar. Winners will receive a free lunch for themselves and a friend at the Brass Lantern. Thank you for all of your support.

ATHLETICS
The boys varsity lacrosse team improved to 1-1 on the season with an 18-1 win over Blue Hills yesterday. Brendan Hussey and Sean Cormican each scored 3 goals and Jake Quin added 2 to lead 8 Vikings with multi-goal games. Cam Lambrinos was dominant on faceoffs and scored 2 goals of his own. The team will travel to take on Southeastern this afternoon at 4. Dismissal at 2:05, bus at 2:15.
The JV boys lacrosse team won its season opener 10-5 over Blue Hills yesterday. Kyle Shiner led the team with 5 goals and Joby Lanza played well in net. The team will play at Southeastern this afternoon at 5:30. Dismissal at 2:05, bus at 2:15.
The girls varsity lacrosse team lost to defending league champion Old Colony yesterday in their season opener. Hannah Towle led the team in shots and Alyssa Wilkinson made 6 saves in net. The team will practice from 3:30-5:30 on the field today.
The baseball team lost to Blue Hills yesterday 11-7. The team fought to come back from a 5 run deficit until the final out. Leading the effort were Max Bartoloni, Kevin Donnellan, Sean Lovell, and Sean McGuirk with some timely big hits.
