From Your Student Council
The pajama drive is going on all during the month of February. Help SSVT and the Boston Bruins collect new pajamas and pajama pants. The collection box is in the main lobby, you can’t miss it. Our goal is to collect 100 pajamas to distribute to local kids in need. Thank you for you help.
Hey SSVT, Do you have someone that you appreciate? Looking for a way to show that person you care? Student Council will be selling carnations and chocolates for delivery this upcoming Valentine’s Day. Look for the student council sales table at your lunches.

Students and teachers, a reminder that Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm is Parent/Teacher Conference Night.
Daily Sports Announcements
- The boys varsity basketball team lost to Old Colony last night 62-51. Robbie Cleaves led the team with 24 points and Kevin Donnellan also played a strong game. The team will travel to take on Bristol Aggie tomorrow.
- The boys JV basketball team beat Old Colony yesterday 41-31. Le’Roy Scott led with 9 points. Pat Wilson scored 8 and Nick Podgurski added 7. It was a strong effort by the entire team and it was their first win over Old Colony in 3 years.
- The freshmen boys basketball team improved to 8-1 with a 50-32 win over Old Colony yesterday. Kyle Stec and Mac Johnson led the team with 16 points apiece.
- The girls basketball team lost to Old Colony yesterday afternoon. Taylor McKinnon led the team with 6 points and 8 rebounds. Rory Sneyd also played well, scoring 4 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Cassidy Burt added 5 points.
- The wrestling team had a strong showing against Brookline, only losing by 8 points. Matt Ryan, Ben Driscoll, Noah Rodri, and Mike LoPorto had pinfall wins for the team.
- The hockey team lost to Southeastern last night.
