The boys varsity basketball team defeated Norfolk Aggie yesterday 57-28. Robbie Cleaves led all scorers with 24 points. Kevin Donnellan and Jake McLarey each added 9 points. The team will host Upper Cape tomorrow night in an important league matchup.
The boys JV basketball team beat Norfolk Aggie yesterday 50-11. Jimmy Dixon led the team with 9 points and Phil O’Brien and Kyle Shiner each added 8.
The varsity girls basketball team lost to Norfolk Aggie yesterday. Jenna Grande played well in the loss.
The hockey team defeated Blue Hills last night 6-3. Cole Hoadley and Dylan Coppenrath led the way with 2 goals apiece. Paul Donahue and George Cook each added a goal and Sean Cormican played well in net. The team will host Nantucket on Saturday at 3:30 at Rockland Rink.
The VAA will be hosting a meat raffle tomorrow night at J&R Indian Head Pub in Hanson immediately following the boys basketball game against Upper Cape. All proceeds benefit the VAA and go back to our athletes so we would like to see a big crowd there!
