Today’s Announcements:
11th grade Cosmo related will be held in the shop today during block 4.
SSVT Sports Update:
- The boys JV basketball team defeated South Shore Christian yesterday 51-30. Le’Roy Scott and Pat Wilson each scored 9 points to lead the team. Chris Campbell added 7.
- The boys varsity basketball team played South Shore Christian very tough but fell 57-45 last night. Robbie Cleaves led the team with 15 points and Jake McLarey added 14. They will host Bristol Aggie on Friday.
- The girls basketball team lost to South Shore Christian last night 40-28. Maddie Dixon and Jenna Grande had strong games for the Vikings. Brianna Ruffin also played well coming off the bench. The team will travel to take on Bristol Aggie on Friday.
- The freshmen boys basketball team will travel to take on Braintree this afternoon at 3:30. The game will be played at Daughraty Gym. Dismissal at 2:05 for a 2:15 mini-bus.
- The hockey team will travel to Fall River to take on Diman tonight at 6. The game will be played at Driscoll Rink and the bus will leave school at 4.
- The wrestling team will travel to Bristol Aggie tonight at 7 for a league match. The bus will leave school at 4:30.
- Beginning this afternoon the weight room will be open under Mr. Clark’s supervision for any students looking to work out. It will be open from 2:45-3:45 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please see Mr. Clark if you have any questions.
