Get out and Vote! If you do not have Mr. Bova, Mr. Chamberlain, Mr. Davis, Ms. Glass, or Ms. Keith and you'd like to vote in a mock Massachusetts Election, go to Ms. Keith's class, room 103 after school and cast your ballot. SSVT will be voting for our next president and on the 4 Massachusetts ballot questions. Deadline is tomorrow with results being announced on Wednesday.
Student Council is running its annual food drive so make sure to bring in any non-perishable food item to the donation box in the cafeteria.
The soccer team lost a heart breaker in the tournament on Friday. Upper Cape scored in the final minutes to win 3-2. Our first season was still a huge success and we’d like to thank the seniors for helping to build the program up so quickly.
The football team hung tough and played a strong second half but lost to Coyle & Cassidy 20-12 on Friday night. Christian Tanner scored both touchdowns and also played a strong defensive game. Anthony Tanzi also played well defensively. They will travel to take on Randolph this Friday night at 6.
The JV football team will travel to take on Bristol-Plymouth this afternoon at 3:00. Dismissal at 1:20, bus at 1:30.
Attention winter athletes, practices and try-outs begin 3 weeks from today. If you have not done so already please go to the athletics page on the school website to sign up and fulfill your eligibility requirements. You also need to check in with the nurse to make sure you have an up to date physical. Any students with expired physicals on November 28 will not be allowed to try out for their teams. Any fall athletes who already completed the online sign-up and submitted the concussion test do not need to do so again.
All fall athletes please save November 30 on your calendars. We will hold our Fall Sports Awards Night at 6 PM in the gym.
