Winter sports begin today!  Here is the practice schedule for this afternoon:

  • Freshmen boys basketball in the gym from 2:30-4
  • Freshmen and first time girls players will be at The U from 3-5.  The van will leave school at 2:40, see Mr. Gilmartin with any questions.
  • Boys JV and varsity basketball from 4-6 in the gym
  • Girls varsity from 6-8 in the gym (there will be no bus, players need to arrange a ride home)
  • Wrestling from 3-5:30 in the cafeteria

A reminder to all athletes practicing and trying out today: you need to have all of your eligibility requirements completed, including on-line sign-up, the concussion test, and an up to date physical with the nurse.  Missing requirements will keep you out of practices and try-outs!

The Fall Sports Awards Night will be held this Wednesday in the gym at 6 PM.  All fall athletes and their families are invited.

A reminder that the late bus schedule will again be 4 and 6 o’clock.  Freshmen boys basketball players should be taking the 4 o’clock bus, while all other athletes (except for the late basketball slot) will be taking the 6 o’clock bus.  No one from a 2:30 practice should be waiting around for the 6 PM bus.

Any fall athletes who have not cleaned out their lockers in the locker rooms need to do so today or tomorrow so that winter athletes can have access to them.
