Spirit Week continues Monday with Superhero Day!
Do you think you can 'stomach' the Angry Elf Relay Challenge? See if you and your team of four can become Angry Elf Champions on Saturday Dec. 3rd at 10am on the football field. Each team member will run a lap while completing a difficult Angry Elf challenge. Fastest team wins. Registration is $5 per person, and will support the wrestling and cross country teams. Clubs, athletic teams, faculty and staff are all encourage to put a team together to see who can stomach Angry Elf best! Registration will begin online, Monday Nov. 21st. Looking for SSVT apparel for the holidays. The Parent's Association will be available on the following evenings from 7 - 8:30 PM. November 28th, December 5th, 15th, and 19th.
The freshmen football team defeated Tri-County yesterday 12-8 to finish the season with a 7-2 record. Brian McClain threw a touchdown pass to Tony Hall and Brian Schlieff returned a kickoff for a touchdown with 50 seconds left to win the game. Sean McGuirk, Jerome Overstreet, Kyle Stec, and Tavien Ford-Cosme all played great games.
There will be Impact Testing in the library Tuesday afternoon after school. Please see Mrs. Worrall if you have any questions. Impact tests are good for 2 years.
All fall athletes please save November 30 on your calendars. We will hold our Fall Sports Awards Night at 6 PM in the gym.
