Congrats to the boys XC team which took home 2nd place overall in the Mayflower League Championship Meet on Saturday in Wrentham. The varsity boys team was lead by Ryan Glynn, Kyle Potts, and Matt McAndrew who all crossed the finish line within the top fourteen runners, making them Mayflower League All-Stars for the season. Ryan Glynn's third overall finish was the highest finish in school history in this competitive race. Alex McPherson and Sean Sidoti also ran strong races and had important places, rounding out the team's top 5 varsity runner, and earning them the second place trophy. The boys, girls, and jv runners will look to compete again this Wednesday in the State Vocational Championships in Wrentham.

The volleyball team played better as the match went on, but fell to #1 seed Tri-County yesterday in the Vocational Tournament semi-final.  Cassidy Burt, Kelli Laubach, and Jade Watts played well for the team.  Jade recorded 4 blocks and 4 kills, setting a new school record with 108 kills in the season.  The team will find out their seed and opponent in the MIAA tournament this afternoon.

The JV football team won its 5th game in a row yesterday, defeating Tri-County 14-6.  Spencer Joseph accounted for both touchdowns, rushing for 1 and throwing another to Patrick Wilson.  He also added a 2 point conversion.  The defense did not allow any points again, led by Owen David’s 2 interceptions.
