The Ambassadors have started a care package for the residents of Haiti. They are looking for  basic everyday needs. Tooth Brushes, Tooth paste, Deodorant, Clothes, etc. They will be keeping a box in Mr. Bello's office across from HVAC.

SSVT is collecting items for the area's homeless prior to winter. Please donate hats, lightly worn coats and clothes, and personal care items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the bin in the front lobby.

Please give generously to both these excellent causes.

The boys cross country team lost a nail biter to Diman yesterday 26-29.  Both teams came in undefeated against Mayflower League teams and our team gave Diman their closest race of the season, but in the end Diman had just enough to squeak by our boys.  Kyle Potts finished 1st overall and set a new course record and Ryan Glynn and Matt McAndrew also recorded top-5 finishes.  The teams will meet again this Saturday afternoon in the Mayflower League Championships.  The race will be held at the Wrentham Development Center and begins at 1 o’clock.

The JV football team beat Upper Cape yesterday 14-0 for their 4th win in a row.  Dom Georgakakis and Nick Podgurski scored the 2 touchdowns and Shane Fougere caught a 2 point conversion pass from Spencer Joseph.  The defense recorded its first shutout of the season led by Noah Rodri and Max Fine.

The JV2 volleyball team will travel to take on Rockland this afternoon at 3:30.  The mini-bus will leave school at 2:45.

The soccer team lost to South Shore Christian yesterday 3-0.  They will host Wareham on Wednesday.

A reminder to all students: From now on, there will be NO using the gym as a cut through to go to the parking lots, or to go to the trainer’s room. All athletes that are playing a sport may enter through their respective locker room doors. If you need to see the trainer you should enter the gym though your locker room as well. There will be no through traffic through the gym doors. Thank you.
