Hey South Shore! The Pep Rally is coming up and what better way to show your pride than a new t-shirt. Student council will be selling colored t-shirts for each grade. What grade has the most spirit?! T-shirts will be sold at lunches for $8.00. $7 if you donate a food item for the food drive at time of purchase. Go Vikings!
Student Council is running its annual food drive so make sure to bring in any non-perishable food items and add them to the food drive donation box in the cafeteria. Last year we were able to donate over 300 food items and raised over $200. Let’s see what we can do this year!

The Ambassadors have started a care package for the residents of Haiti. They are looking for basic everyday needs. Tooth Brushes, Tooth paste, Deodorant, Clothes, etc. They will be keeping a box in Mr. Bello's office across from HVAC.

SSVT is collecting items for the area's homeless prior to winter. Please donate hats, lightly worn coats and clothes, and personal care items such as deodorants, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the bin in the front lobby.
Please give generously to both these excellent causes.
Down 12-6, the freshmen football team rallied to tie the game yesterday, but 2 late touchdowns by Upper Cape proved to be the difference in their first loss of the season. Sean McGuirk ran the ball well and the defense played hard all game.
John Jenkins, Jake Quin, Leo Johnson, and Colby Avila closed out the golf season by competing in the Mayflower League tournament yesterday. During the awards presentation it was announced that this year’s team was the recipient of the league’s sportsmanship award. Great job by Coach Murphy and all of the members of the team!
The varsity soccer team will travel to Old Colony this afternoon for a 3:30 game. Dismissal at 1:50, bus at 2:00.
The varsity and JV1 volleyball teams will travel to Old Colony this afternoon. JV1 will play at 3:30, followed by varsity at 5. Dismissal at 1:50, bus at 2:00. The teams will also travel to Rockland High School tomorrow. JV1 at 10, followed by varsity at 11:30. The bus will leave school tomorrow at 9:15.
The JV2 volleyball team will travel to West Bridgewater this afternoon for a 3:30 game. Dismissal at 2:00, mini-bus at 2:10.
The varsity football team will host Upper Cape tomorrow morning at 11. Anyone coming to the game please be aware that there will be increased traffic in the parking lots due to Open House so please use extra caution.
