Good Morning,
Today is Thursday, therefore mini-block and lunches are based upon your block academic 2 class. If you are not already assigned to a class at that time on your schedule you will report back to that room for your mini-block class. Block 2 academic teachers please guide your students for when you eat lunch and when you have class.
The following students have the same lunch all week:
CP 11th graders eat 1st lunch
AM, EX, HVAC, Portuguese 11th graders and Mrs. Doherty math class eat 2nd lunch.
Students should check their school email for a complete lunch list.
The ambassadors will hold their first meeting of the school year immediately after school today in the lecture hall with Mr. Bello. See Mr. Bello in his office across from HVAC with issues.
All drama members and those interested in joining drama, please meet in Mr. Savage's room, 115 B on Wednesday, September 14th.
The cross country teams had a good start to their season Tuesday afternoon against Rising Tide. The boys won their race, led by overall winner Ryan Glynn. Kyle Potts, Matt McAndrew, and Alex McPherson followed closely behind as the boys swept the top 4 places. The girls lost their race, but Mikaela Drake and Kristen Saccone ran well.
The varsity volleyball team started the season strong with a 3-0 win over South Shore Christian yesterday. The team’s strong serving was the difference as they served at 92% for the match. The hoodie award went to Catherine Beery, who served 14-15 with 8 aces. Mairiah Leines, Kelli Laubach, Sabrina Holmes, and Becca Cooke also had excellent days serving as well. The team will travel to take on Blue Hills tomorrow afternoon.
The JV1 volleyball team defeated Atlantis Charter 3-0 in their first game of the season yesterday. Rory Sneyd, Nicole Silva, and Adriana Reis all played well. The girls will play at Blue Hills tomorrow.
The golf team lost to West Bridgewater yesterday. They will travel to Sandwich Hollows this afternoon for a 3 PM match against Upper Cape. Dismissal at 1:15, mini-bus at 1:25.
The varsity soccer team will play their first game of the season today when they host South Shore Christian at 3:45. If there is anyone still interested in playing on the team please see Mr. Freitas in room 202 or Mr. Marani in room 206.
