National Skilled Trades Day. Established in 2019 by City Machine Technologies in Youngstown, Ohio, this day was set to raise awareness about the value of the skilled trades workforce in the United States and honor skilled trades workers. The skilled trades group is responsible for keeping the country intact. These are the individuals we call to repair our cars, put in new toilets, construct our homes, collect our blood, ensure the health of our pets, and so much more. As a result, honor those who work in skilled trades on the first Wednesday in May.
