Today’s Announcements:
- The girls lacrosse team lost to Middleboro 10-2 yesterday, but played their strongest game of the season. The game was close throughout before Middleboro was able to pull away in the last 10 minutes. Britney Pappaceno had a goal and an assist and Cyairra Lowe added a goal. Nicole Perry made 11 saves in her first career start in net.
- The varsity baseball lost to Upper Cape yesterday afternoon. Max Bartoloni and Sean McGuirk had 2 hits apiece to lead the offense.
- The softball team lost to Upper Cape yesterday. Becca Cooke led the offense with 3 hits. Erin Riley added a hit and Rory Sneyd had an RBI.
- The varsity boys lacrosse team lost to Upper Cape 12-5 yesterday. John DeCarli played well on defense.
- The JV boys lacrosse team tied Upper Cape 4-4 yesterday. Spencer Joseph led the team with 2 goals. Josh Carignan and Kyle Stec each added a goal.
- Attention all athletes and parents: the VAA will be hosting a meat raffle this Friday night at 8 at J&R’s Indian Head Pub in Hanson. The VAA does a lot to help our student-athletes and we would like to see a big turnout Friday to help them in return!
- Dr. Stanley, our school doctor, will be at the school on May 24 to perform sports physicals for any student that needs one. These are provided free of charge and it is a great opportunity to make sure your physical is up to date for next year. If you are interested please sign up in the nurse’s office by May 22.
