Congratulations to Connor Ashburn and Matt Montgomery for placing first in the state for the AAA Ford Competition. They will be moving on to Nationals in Deerborn, Michigan on June 9th-12th.
Christina Brennan received a recognition award in Junior Women Leaders in STEM from Mass Maritime Academy. This award is given to highlight female success as a leader in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. In addition, she was awarded a full scholarship to Maritime's summer program Sea, Science and leadership taking place in August.

Walk-a-thon
With a strong showing from the sophomores, SSVT walked and ran 696 miles on Friday! Thanks to everyone who participated, gave money, and helped make this event such a success, especially Marylouise Jepsen.
So far we have raised $1300, our goal is $2000. We will continue to collect money for the First Responders Fund until Friday afternoon. Please bring all money to Ms. Mariani in the front office.

Biology MCAS Tutoring will be after school Tuesday in room 205 and Thursday in room 201. All Students taking the 10th Grade Biology MCAS are invited to attend.
